In this contribution, we will present two results we have recently obtained in studying the impact of satellite(s) accretions on stellar disks, and that concern: (1) the distribution of the eccentricities of stars in thick disks; (2) the characteristics of the vertical surface density profiles of thick disks, and in particular the presence of a “stellar excess” at great heights (z>2kpc) from the galaxy mid-plane.
