Recent results on beyond the standard model Higgs boson searches from CMS

Abstract

Two extensions of the standard model, one that includes the seesaw mechanism of type II, and the minimal supersymmetric extention to the standard model, are studied using up to 1.6 fb⁻¹ of data collected in proton-proton collisions at √s = 7 TeV with the CMS detector at the LHC.
