Phase structure of Gross-Neveu model with compactification in the presence of external magnetic field

In the paper there have been studied Gross-Neveu model in (2+1)-dimensional space-time with one compactified dimension in presence of external magnetic field at finite temperature. Magnetic field is directed along the uncompactified dimension that is along the axis of the cylinder on which the system lives. Chiral symmetry breaking and corresponding phase structure of the model is investigated in the leading order of expansion.
