Belle II at the Start of Data Taking

The Belle II experiment is expected to collect e+e- collision data at a 40 times higher instantaneous luminosity than achieved so far. The high collision rate requires not only an upgrade of the detector, but also of the computing system and the software to handle the data. The first collision data taken during the commissioning runin Spring 2018 provides an excellent opportunity to review the status of the Belle II computing and software and assess its readiness for the physics data taking starting 2019.
