The electron screening effect was investigated in the 2H(6Li,p0)7Li and 2H(6Li,p1)7Li nuclear reactions using thin titanium, thick palladium and thin amorphous carbon foils containing deuterium. In the first reaction, we observed high electron screening potentials for all target materials, which were significantly above the adiabatic limit. In contrast, the second reaction revealed small electron screening, consistent with this theoretical upper limit.
