We update previous predictions for the yield ratio R = NX(3872)=N ψ(2S) of particles produced at the LHC. We focus on the effects of the hadron gas phase on the abundance of these particles. We use a transport model to compute the multiplicities and how they evolve in time within the hadron gas. We find that the hadronic interactions yield a very weak suppression. Consequently, the ratio R for the tetraquark and meson molecule yields remains the same as the one at the hadronization time. In the present work we have improved the theoretical description of the ψ(2S) interactions and used it to recalculate the ratio R in PbPb collisions at √SNN = 5:02 TeV to be measured by the ALICE Collaboration in the Run 3. We find that the ratio obtained for the tetraquark configuration is 50 times smaller than for the molecular configuration. Within the uncertainties, this result is still consistent with our previous work.
